Gerald Carton
Gerald Carton is a Principal at Coller Capital, specializing in Capital Raising and Investor Relations. With a background in secondaries investments, particularly in real estate, Gerald joined Coller Capital in 2004, contributing to the successful investment of Coller International Partners Funds IV, V, VI, and VII. His expertise spans all facets of the secondary transaction process, encompassing direct and LP transactions. Gerald also oversees investor relations in regions including the Middle East, France, Italy, French-speaking Switzerland, and Ireland.
Before his tenure at Coller Capital, Gerald gained valuable experience at the Investment Bank of Ireland in Dublin, Sekia International, and in the M&A team of Jefferies Broadview in London. Gerald holds a BComm in Banking and Finance and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from the University College Dublin Graduate Business School. He is currently a level III CFA candidate. Gerald's skill set includes a wide array of proficiencies such as private equity secondaries, fundraising, due diligence, valuation, equity analysis, structuring, negotiation, closing/execution, portfolio monitoring, and investment management.
