Georgy Kolpachev is a seasoned venture capital/private equity/M&A professional with over 15 years of experience gained in Russia, the US, Europe, and Asia markets. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University), MIPT. Georgy boasts a proven track record of direct investments, M&A deals, and more than ten successful exits from portfolio companies. He currently serves as an executive in PE/VC and M&A at Private Practice.

Georgy's professional experience spans across different companies, where he has held various board of directors roles. He formerly served as a Member of the Board of Directors at New Wireless Technologies, Quantenna Communications, NTO IRE-Polus, Nesscap Energy, Joule Global Holdings, PlasticLogic Holdings, and Joule Global Holdings. Additionally, he has held numerous chairman positions at TBM LLC, TMK-INOX LLC, Future Store LLC, Advanced Technologies Center CJSC, Germanium and Applications LLC, and Neutron Technologies LLC.

Prior to his current role, Georgy worked as a Managing Director at OJSC RUSNANO. He has served as Director for Russia and CIS countries at Intel Capital and an Investment Manager at MINT Capital Private Equity Fund. Moreover, he lectured as a professor's assistant for Corporate Finance at New Economic School, Moscow, and worked in several consultancy roles, including Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance and Project Leader at Stock Option Institute. Georgy's deep technical background in Physics and Mathematics and his vast international experience make him an all-around professional in the VC/PE and M&A ecosystem.
