Georgiy Aleksanyan

Georgiy Aleksanyan is currently serving as the Treasurer for the Rutgers Armenian Student Association while pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on robotics, automation, and research and development. He is expected to graduate in May 2024. His role as treasurer involves coordinating financial activities within the organization, showcasing his leadership and organizational skills.1

In addition to his position at the student association, Aleksanyan has gained practical experience through various internships and projects. He is the Lead Engineer at Ararat Robotics, where he has been involved in R&D initiatives since March 2021. His previous internships include roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Starta, where he developed skills in venture capital and wealth management.1

Aleksanyan is multilingual, speaking Russian and English fluently, with additional proficiency in Spanish and basic Armenian. His diverse background includes founding a STEAM education platform aimed at enhancing public entities like libraries and museums.1 He describes himself as a "general entrepreneur," driven by a passion for solving global problems and communicating complex ideas effectively to non-technical audiences.1
