Georgia Bullen is the Executive Director of Simply Secure, an advocate for usable security, privacy, open data practices, transparency, and ethics with a deep engagement in the global open internet fight.
With a background in human-centered design, urban planning, and software development, Georgia is passionate about privacy, security, net neutrality, and community engagement for equitable access to technology.
She holds an MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University, a BS in Psychology and Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, and has studied Rowing at Trinity College Dublin.
Georgia has been involved with various organizations including TechCongress, Johns Hopkins University, New America, and Capital Rowing Club, focusing on usability, design, planning, and tech projects.
As an advocate for women in technology, she connects people to elevate their work and strives to create a collaborative and impactful tech community.
