George Papagiannakis

George Papagiannakis is a prominent figure in the fields of computer graphics and virtual reality, currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO at ORamaVR.

With a strong academic background, George holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Geneva, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bristol Law School, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester.

In addition to his role at ORamaVR, George is also a distinguished Professor of Computer Graphics at the University of Crete, a Researcher at FORTH (Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas), and a Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva.

Throughout his career, George has made significant contributions to the academic and technological landscape, leveraging his expertise in computer graphics and virtual reality to advance research and education in these areas.

His experience spans across academia and industry, with roles including Visiting Professor, Professor, Co-founder and CEO/CTO, and Adjunct Researcher in esteemed institutions such as the University of Geneva, University of Crete, and ICS-FORTH.
