George Northcott is a prominent figure in the startup ecosystem, having co-founded Founders Factory in 2015 alongside Brent Hoberman and Henry Lane Fox.

During his tenure at Founders Factory, which spanned four years, George played a pivotal role in overseeing investments in over 90 startups and the establishment of more than 30 new ventures.

He was instrumental in fostering collaborations between the portfolio companies and corporate partners, leading to the execution of over 200 pilots and attracting over $250 million in subsequent funding.

Under his leadership, the team at Founders Factory experienced remarkable growth, expanding from 3 individuals in 2014 to over 100 employees across multiple hubs in London, Johannesburg, Paris, and New York by 2019.

George Northcott excelled in managing strategic partnerships with renowned organizations such as L'Oreal, easyJet, Aviva, Guardian Media Group, Holtzbrinck, and CSC, while creating a symbiotic model that aligned corporate assets with entrepreneurial talent.

In 2018, George spearheaded the UK expansion of Founders Factory, securing new investors like Marks & Spencer and Reckitt Benckiser, and forging partnerships with major players like Vodafone and LEGO Ventures.

His international efforts led to the establishment of Founders Factory Africa in Johannesburg in collaboration with Standard Bank, and Founders Factory Paris in partnership with Albin Serviant and Aviva France in 2019.

Currently serving as Vice President of Founders Factory, George Northcott is focused on driving the business's growth in the United States, with a primary emphasis on launching operations in New York in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson.

His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Oxford and an education at Eton College.

Throughout his career, George held various roles at esteemed organizations including Founders Forum, Lepe Partners, Nomura International, and had internships at Sports Entertainment Limited and Nomura International.
