George Kliavkoff, Commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference

George Kliavkoff is the current Commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference, a collegiate athletic conference that includes universities in the Western United States. He assumed this role in 2021.1

Prior to becoming Pac-12 Commissioner, Kliavkoff held several notable positions:

• Member of the Board of Governors for the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) from 2018 to 20211
• Chief Executive Officer of Jaunt XR, a global augmented and virtual reality content studio, from 2016 to 20181
• Board Member of Science, a venture capital firm, from 2013 to 20161
• Board Member of A+E Networks, a global entertainment company, from 2013 to 20161
• President of Hearst Ventures, one of the most active strategic investment funds in the world, from 2009 to 20161

Kliavkoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.1
