George Karantonis is a multi-faceted professional with a robust background in Business Administration and Geology/Earth Science. He possesses the skills and experience to thrive in several fields, including Venture Capital, Finance, e-Government, and Geosciences. George is a Partner at Metavallon.vc, a prominent Venture Capital firm that supports early-stage startups. He previously served as CEO at MOTIVIAN S.A., Sales VP at Velti, Athens Office Director at Atlantis Consulting, and CEO & Co-Founder at Agiltech. His experience also extends to the realm of e-Learning, where he led the business unit at Com-ToNet SA. George has been involved in several industry organizations, including Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC), where he served as Vice Chairman Board Director.
