George Kalligeros

George Kalligeros is a distinguished product & engineering leader, startup founder, and proficient operator with a proven track record in creating innovative hardware/software products & organizations.

Beginning his career as a design engineer at Tesla, George later established Pushme, a venture focusing on user-swapping for shared micromobility. The success of Pushme led to its acquisition by TIER, where the technology and team became the core of the TIER Energy Network, expanding to 2.5k locations in over 40 cities and facilitating 500k+ swaps.

Post-acquisition, George enhanced TIER's hardware operations, contributing significantly to the company's rapid growth to over €X00M in ARR. Presently, he oversees the global Hardware organization for the TIER group, including TIER, Nextbike, and Spin, managing product, engineering, and maintenance for 450k vehicles across 500 markets in the US and EMEA regions.

George Kalligeros is deeply passionate about company building and extends guidance to hardware startups. With a background in Mechanical Engineering including a Master's degree from the University of Bath, he brings a wealth of expertise and valuable insights to the industry.

Having held various key roles such as VP Hardware, Global Director of Hardware Engineering, Director of Hardware, and Co-founder & CEO at different organizations like TIER Mobility, as well as serving as a Mentor at Techstars, George's extensive experience and hands-on approach make him a sought-after advisor for early-stage founders in the hardware sector.
