George Fct

George Fct is an experienced Treasury Director, having served in various high-level roles at reputable organizations such as Survitec Group Ltd, Capita plc, UBM plc, Inmarsat plc, and Cable & Wireless Communications.

At UBM plc, George was instrumental in financing the company through strategic debt financing recommendations, cash flow analysis, relationship management with banks, and overseeing financial forecasts and funding requirements.

George successfully managed 11 banks in a £400m RCF, executed the debut UBM plc US private placement, and led M&A funding and integration efforts globally.

He instituted new Board reporting mechanisms, implemented cash management strategies resulting in a significant reduction of bank accounts, and played a key role in reducing cash levels worldwide.

With a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool, George is adept at FX and derivatives management, including Deal Contingent Forward, interest rate swaps, balance sheet hedging, and valuation responsibilities.

George plays a crucial role at the Board level in shaping and renewing Treasury Policy annually, participating in UBM's Senior Leadership Team to implement Group Strategy, and representing UBM in pension scheme matters.

He presents semi-annually on material issues like valuations, manages a £500m investment portfolio as a member of the UBM Pensions Investment sub-committee, and leads the pensions Risk Committee.
