George Eid is the Founder and CEO of AREA 17, a branding and digital product agency with studios in Paris and New York. He established the agency in 2003, initially in New York, before expanding to Paris in 2006. Eid is one of three partners at AREA 17, working closely with his colleagues Kemp Attwood and Hannah Kreiswirth to lead global operations.
Eid's background encompasses a diverse range of experiences. He began his career in theatre, transitioning into digital design and technology in the 1990s. He has held roles as a creative director and has worked on significant projects, including the development of the Internet’s first two-way marketplaces and e-commerce platforms for major clients like Caterpillar and Compaq.
