George Cheung

George Cheung is a highly accomplished business development executive who has spent much of his career leading cross-functional business units, developing exciting greenfield business opportunities, and enabling technology to improve the way we live, learn, and play. A graduate of the University of New South Wales, Sydney, the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and the University of Technology Sydney, Cheung has held leadership roles at companies such as Innovusion Inc., Novell, Avid, Nortel, and MIH/iDirect. At Innovusion, an image-grade, long range '300 Channels' US-made LiDAR, he manages the Australian, New Zealand, and Singaporean operations, working with various industries across the territories, including mobility LiDAR for the autonomous vehicle industry and stationary LiDAR for specialized industries. Before joining Innovusion, he was a strategic development director at IBM, where he deployed many keystone projects, including JVs, in the autonomous vehicles mobility, robotics, drones, UAV, AI analytics, machine learning, and enterprise SaaS segments with the top 200 enterprise in APAC, China, and California. Outside of work, he volunteers for social works and believes in building a more compassionate and caring society.
