    George Brock is a prominent figure in journalism with extensive experience in both academia and the media industry. He is currently working as a commentator, researcher, and consultant for news media in a self-employed capacity since January 2015.1

    Brock has a distinguished career in journalism, having worked for various publications including The Yorkshire Evening Press, The Observer, and The Times. At The Times, he held several senior positions such as Managing Editor, Foreign Editor, and Saturday Editor over a 28-year period.12
