Geoffrey See is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of blockchain, digital banking and identity, financial inclusion, public policy, and fintech. With a deep interest in frontier ecosystems, he has worked in several emerging markets, including Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and Thailand, in addition to Singapore, Korea, the US, China, and India. He is a Kauffman Fellow, a World Economic Forum Council member, and was previously a Young Global Leader at the forum.
Mr. See has a diverse educational background, having studied Economics at the Wharton School, Chinese Language and Literature at Tsinghua University, and East Asia Studies at Yale University, where he obtained a fellowship. He has also completed venture capital and executive education programs at Stanford University and was formerly the Head of Anquan Lab at Anquan, a chatbot platform, and Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Public Policy at Trusting Social.
Additionally, Mr. See has held several policy advisory and board positions, including as a member of the Gaesong Industrial District Foundation, the Singapore Sichuan Trade, and Investment Council, and the Digital ASEAN Project-Task Force Member of Data Policy and Payments. Furthermore, he co-founded a co-working space business in Vietnam and worked at Bain as an Associate Consultant, where he worked on projects in private equity, technology, retail, and consumer products.
As an expert in blockchain and digital banking, Mr. See aims for the economic empowerment of entrepreneurs in frontier ecosystems, leading to his work as Chairman of Choson Exchange. During his time at Choson Exchange, he trained over 2000 entrepreneurs in frontier ecosystems and helped build ecosystems and policy initiatives from scratch. He also co-founded a co-working space business in Ho Chi Minh City, which supported the Vietnamese startup ecosystem.
