Geoffrey Koch is a Science Instructor at Butte College, specializing in Agriculture Science and Agriculture Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Soils and Biogeochemistry from the University of California, Davis, where his research focused on soil carbon and nitrogen dynamics, greenhouse gas emissions, and the effects of composting dairy manure. His academic journey began at Mesa College in San Diego, followed by various roles in industries such as deep-sea sportfishing and construction before returning to academia at MiraCosta College.
