Geoffrey Hunter

Geoffrey Hunter is a seasoned professional with 9 years of experience in research and an additional 6 years of expertise in bridging technical and business teams to develop scalable data science products in Marketing, Financial, and Life Science industries. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematical Physiology from the University of Utah, along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Throughout his career, Geoffrey has held notable roles including Director Data Science, Data Science Manager, and Head of Data Science at various renowned organizations such as Uberflip and TribalScale. He has also lent his expertise as a Data Scientist at Deloitte Canada, a Data Science Consultant at Widgets and Digits, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, and as Adjunct Faculty at Salt Lake Community College. Additionally, he has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah.

In his capacity as a data science leader, Geoffrey advises senior leadership and business executives on AI strategies and guides organizations in shaping their data strategies. He is skilled in mentoring technical data science teams, transforming them into agile, product-focused groups.
