Geoff Apps is a passionate and determined leader known for his exceptional ability to navigate the complexities of technology projects and foster environments where engineering teams thrive and continually prepare for the future.

Geoff pursued a diverse educational path, earning an MSc in Computer Science from Stanford University, an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the Australian National University.

His career has been marked by significant leadership roles, including Vice President of Cloud Engineering at Zuora, Vice President of the Office of the CTO at Zuora, and Chief Technology Officer positions at various companies such as JOANY, Tradesy, and Tramada Systems.

Geoff has also held key technical positions, such as Senior Director of Engineering at Zappos Family of Companies, Lead Architect at News Digital Media, and J2EE Architect/Team Lead at Goldman Sachs/JBWere.

His extensive experience includes serving as a Solutions Architect at Sydney Water and KAZ, as well as the Director of Engineering at Productopia and the Director of Research and Development at Amdahl Corp.

Additionally, Geoff Apps co-founded BEAP and has contributed his technical expertise as a Systems Programmer for the Australian Federal Government.

His educational background, combined with his vast experience in leadership and technology, has equipped Geoff with a unique skill set that positions him as an authority in the realm of cloud engineering, technology projects, and team development.
