Gaytri Kachroo is a renowned investor, board member, entrepreneur, corporate executive, and author. She is the Founder and CEO of The Project for World Peace, Inc., a social enterprise promoting peace and prosperity initiatives globally through advanced, sustainable technologies as well as through economic development. Dr. Kachroo has advised and mentored several technology companies and is a recognized thought leader for international legal reform in financial services.
She studied at Harvard Law School, where she earned SJD and qualifying LL.M. degrees, and McGill University, where she earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.). She also holds LL.B and LL.L degrees from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. in Fine Arts and Political Science from Wellesley College.
Dr. Kachroo's extensive professional experience has seen her serve as CEO and Chairman at pharmaceutical and energy firms, Principal at Kachroo Legal Services P.C., and Chair/Board member at World Boston. She has also been a Partner - International Law and India Practices at Boston law firms.
As an author, Dr. Kachroo co-authored the best-selling book, “No One Would Listen,” which documents the investigation of Madoff. She also served as an Associate Producer for the documentary, “Chasing Madoff.”
Dr. Kachroo's expertise spans various fields, including corporate governance and development, financial technology, agritech, aquatech, biotech, energytech, identity-creation, AI, nanotech, fintech, micro-finance, and transformational digital technologies for humanity. She is also a proponent of international legal reform in financial services and proposed a new International Finance Court before the Hague World Legal Forum and proposed changes to the Dodd-Frank Act.
