She started her career as a freelance fashion illustrator and later diversified into projects for advertising, editorial work, and animation.
Graduating from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, she has had the honor of creating five covers for The New Yorker magazine, including the celebrated 'June Brides' cover in 2012.
Gayle's work often focuses on exploring beauty in various forms, portraying a delicate and intricate artistic approach.
Aside from her professional achievements, Gayle Kabaker enjoys traveling to paint and draw, illustrating her life experiences in her sketchbook.
She resides in Western Massachusetts with her husband, the artist Peter Kitchell, and their dog Charlie.
