Gavin Jones

Gavin Jones is a retired professional who is involved in international development projects focused on creating sustainable change. He recently managed a team working on a Trade and Logistics Hub in Busia, on the Kenyan and Ugandan border. In 2016, Gavin co-founded the Made in Africa Initiative to drive export manufacturing success in Africa through Foreign Direct Investment, particularly from China. He also founded Upper Quartile LLP in 2006, which saw significant sales growth in conflict zones and was later acquired by WYG plc. Gavin has a diverse background that includes work in various sectors like oil and gas, marketing, and investment, with a focus on emerging markets and fragile states.
