Gaurav Gulati is a seasoned research scientist with an extensive background in pharmaceutical sciences, drug delivery, and biomedical research. With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in India, Gaurav has achieved significant expertise in developing formulations and electro-active membrane-based transdermal patches. His current work involves the development of a sample preparation for a point-of-care device for HIV diagnosis. Gaurav has experience in executing IND enabling Pharmacokinetic studies of Lipid stabilized and PLGA encapsulated drugs nanoformulations in mice and performing dermatopharmacokinetic study of carbon nanotubes membrane-based transdermal nicotine delivery devices in guinea pigs. As a Research Scientist-3 at the Bioengineering department at University of Washington, Seattle, he is engaged in applying his expertise in developing PVA membrane-coated silicone implants for drug-combination nanoparticles. Gaurav has also created a scale-up formulation process and a target product profile for IND application.
