Gary Chou
Fred Wilson is a well-rounded professional with extensive experience in technology, media, product management, and design. He is a Princeton University AB graduate and former Technical Staff member at the university's Computer Science Department.
Throughout his career, Wilson has held various positions of leadership and advisory roles in different organizations across different spheres. He is the founder of Orbital and has served as Executive Producer at Surrogate Valentine and Executive Board Member at Venture For America. He has also been an Advisor at Austin Center for Design, Geni.com, Kearny Street Workshop, Locus Arts, and Urban Archive. Additionally, he was on the faculty of the MFA in Interaction Design program at the School of Visual Arts and was the Chief Strategist at Cisco Media Solutions Group.
Wilson's skills and interests extend beyond technology and management. He was the Chief Roadie at the Follow Your Whim Tour and a volunteer at the Center for Asian American Media. He was also an organizer of Third Thursdays, a monthly event in San Francisco aimed at building a community among artists and creatives.
