Gary Chou

Gary Chou is the founder of Orbital, a studio focused on building networks, which he established in January 2014 and continues to lead from New York City. He has a diverse background in various roles, including being an Executive Producer for "Surrogate Valentine" and serving as faculty for the MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts from 2011 to 2018. Chou has also held advisory positions with organizations like the Austin Center for Design and Venture For America, and he has experience in product management and strategy at companies such as Cisco and Union Square Ventures.

Chou graduated from Princeton University, where he earned an AB degree. His professional journey reflects a strong commitment to design, technology, and community engagement, as evidenced by his extensive experience in both the creative and entrepreneurial sectors.12
