Gary Adams, Head of Platforms at Reach plc

Gary Adams is currently the Head of Platforms at Reach plc, a position he has held since January 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Interim Head of Engineering for Emerging at Reach plc from November 2021 to January 2022.1

Before becoming Head of Platforms, Adams held several other roles at Reach plc:

• Agile Test Lead (February 2018 - March 2019)1

He has extensive experience in IT infrastructure, having worked in various roles across the industry:

• Agile Test Analyst & Automation Lead at Barclays Investment Bank (March 2016 - August 2017)
• Agile Test Coach - Automation at Freight Transport Association (March 2015 - October 2015)
• QA Manager - Agile Test Coach at accumulate - Qantas Loyalty (October 2012 - February 2015)1

Adams holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gateshead Technical College, a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Digital Electronics from the University of Kent, and a Master of Professional Accounting from RMIT University.1

He has also obtained several AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and AWS Certified Security – Specialty.1
