His educational background includes a Graduate Degree in Curriculum Instruction from Grand Canyon University, a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, an M.S. in Secondary Education from Alcorn State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, also from Alcorn State University.
Throughout his career, Garry has held various roles in academia, including CAEP Coordinator and Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in the School of Education. He has also served as an Adjunct Instructor and Assistant Professor at Alcorn State University, where he was also engaged as a teacher, defensive back coach, and Head Track coach at Vicksburg High School.
His professional journey includes being an Adjunct faculty member and former Curriculum Chair in Sport Management at Alcorn State University, as well as Assistant defensive back coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Academic Advisor at Albany State University. Garry's teaching experience spans across secondary and higher education.
