Garrett Cassidy

Meet Garrett Cassidy, an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in the financial services and FinTech industries. He is a Trinity College and University College Dublin alumnus, having obtained a BA in Computer Science and an MBA with 1st Class Honours, respectively. Garrett co-founded Trezeo, a financial services company that aims to reshape the gig economy landscape. He is also a Fellow of The RSA, an organisation that promotes creativity and social change.

In his career, Garrett has held several key positions, such as Managing Director at Abarta Consulting and Europe Managing Director at Circle. He has also worked at Bank of Ireland, where he served as Programme Director for Finance Transformation, Head of Markets, Commercial Lending, and Payments Development, and Senior Finance Business Partner/Director, among other roles. In addition, he has held managerial and advisory roles at Goldman Sachs, Marrakech, and Anthemis Group SA.

Garrett is an expert in payments, blockchain, digital currencies, technology, finance, capital markets, and operations. His vast knowledge and proven capabilities have made him an accomplished leader and an important figure in the FinTech industry.
