Gareth Jones is a seasoned software development leader and keynote speaker with a strong architectural bias, known for his expertise in APIs, Microsoft Graph, OneNote, T4 code generation, software tool architecture, domain-specific languages, and abstraction. He is passionate about the developer experience and has a background in building and driving coherent API surfaces across Microsoft's productivity assets. Gareth has held several technical leadership roles at Microsoft, including API Architect for Microsoft Education and OneNote, working on ALM tools, leading the Visual Studio ecosystem dev team, co-creating DSL Tools for modeling in Visual Studio, and developing APIs for UML designers.
