Gareth Brahams is a highly respected employment lawyer with over 25 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has gained a reputation as a fierce negotiator and is widely recognised as a terrific lawyer who always gets the best result for his clients. Brahams is ranked by both of the independent legal directories, Chambers and Legal 500, as one of the top employment solicitors advising senior executives in London. He is also the most recent past chair but one of the 6,000 member Employment Lawyers Association, the principal industry body for lawyers specialising in the employment field.

Brahams holds a number of industry positions and is currently the managing partner of Brahams Dutt Badrick French LLP. The firm he founded with his partners, BDBF, is particularly known for its contentious work in the tribunal and the High Court but also advise clients on all employment law issues, including non-contentious severances such as in redundancy situations.

He has expertise in negotiating severances for senior employees and partners and on behalf of LLPs and employers. He also helps employees voicing concerns about malpractice (whistleblowers), disability/disability insurance claims, and advising on new contracts. His specialties also include dealing with non-competition clauses, helping people move as a team, constructive dismissal, bonus disputes, and disputes about deferred remuneration. Moreover, he also advises on employment law issues arising when businesses are being sold or outsourced.
