Dr. Gail Martino is a seasoned innovator and author with a deep interest in sustainable and agile innovation, currently serving as a global program leader at Unilever, a major multinational corporation.
With a focus on sustainability, Dr. Martino has a strong background in product development, strategic partnerships, technical scouting, and innovation culture establishment.
Her educational journey includes studying Strategy and Innovation at MIT Sloan School of Management, Yale University School of Medicine, achieving a Ph.D. from Boston College, and earning a B.S. from Syracuse University.
She has held various roles in organizations such as Unilever, where she served as a Senior Manager in Emerging Technologies, as well as positions at MIT Media Lab, Gillette, and Colgate University.
Dr. Martino’s passion for nature and birdwatching transcends into her writing, having authored both fiction and nonfiction books. She recently released a children's book titled 'A Friend for Bloo' and is set to publish an anthology of essays on birdwatching in 2021.
