Gaetan Thomas is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in Electrical Engineering.

He graduated with a BScEng (Electrical) in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

Throughout his career, Gaetan has held various key positions in the energy sector, showcasing his expertise and leadership skills.

He served as the President and CEO of Énergie NB Power, demonstrating his capabilities at the highest levels of management.

Prior to that, Gaetan Thomas was the Vice-President of Nuclear, Vice-President of Distribution & Customer Service, and also led the Coleson Cove Refurbishment Project at NB Power.

His extensive experience includes roles such as Regional Manager for the Eastern Region in Transmission & Distribution and Northern Region in Distribution & Customer Service at NB Power.

Gaetan Thomas has also served as the Président Directeur Général du CÉNB at the Conseil Économique du N.-B., showcasing his dedication to economic development.
