Gabriele Bartolini is a highly skilled and experienced programmer and entrepreneur with a background in Statistics. Currently, Gabriele is the VP of Cloud Native at EDB, having previously served as Head of Global Support, Principal Consultant, and Managing Director of 2ndQuadrant Italia. Gabriele is well-respected within the international PostgreSQL community and is an active member of the local ITPUG. He is an expert in data mining and data warehousing and has worked for several organizations, including Devise.IT, Hitwise, and Smartworks Pty Ltd. Gabriele is also a talented musician and enjoys playing his Fender Stratocaster electric guitar in his free time. He is a proud father to his sweet 1-year old daughter, Elisabeth, and lives in Prato, Italy, where he is originally from, and Melbourne, Australia, where he studied at Monash University.
