Fura Johannesdottir is a renowned global chief creative officer who has made extraordinary contributions to the digital industry over the last two decades. She started her journey in Iceland, but soon moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design where she explored the intersection between digital and physical worlds. Fura worked at R/GA for twelve years and this is where she learnt the craft and worked with the industry's best talents. During this time, she worked on projects for high-profile clients such as Nike, Walmart, Samsung, H&M, and Volvo. After R/GA, Fura joined Publicis Sapient, leading the experience capability across the company's international offices. She then moved to Huge where she is currently leading the design team globally, and the company won Campaign US's digital innovation agency of the year award. She has also been a part of the judging panel and served as a jury president at various industry awards such as Cannes Lions, Clios, and more. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Fura has a degree in psychology from Háskóli Íslands. She is a trustee of D&AD, a well-known organization that aims to celebrate excellence in design and advertising.
