Bill Cunningham, MSc, is a seasoned psychologist with a strong background in mental health awareness and wellbeing training.
Having spent two years as the National Trainer for MHFA Ireland, Bill contributed significantly to developing the Mental Health First Aid program in Ireland.
He is an Associate Trainer for MHFA Ireland and has extensive experience in delivering over 150 Mental Health First Aid courses across various regions both in England and Ireland.
Bill holds a Master's Degree in Psychology and is affiliated with notable organizations such as the British Psychological Society, the Psychological Society of Ireland, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
With over 15 years of experience in mental health, Bill started as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2004 and subsequently ventured into training as a Mental Health First Aid instructor in 2007.
He has been actively involved in training new MHFA instructors and has been pivotal in the evolution of MHFA programs in England and Ireland.
At the Golden Tree Wellbeing CIC, Bill contributed to developing training programs incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology to enhance people's wellbeing.
Bill is also an approved i-act instructor, delivering accredited programs to empower managers in maintaining and improving workplace wellbeing.
His qualifications extend to offering Level 1, 2, and 3 First Aid for Mental Health training and serving as a Corporate Mental Health Facilitator.
His educational background includes a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Sunderland, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Open University, and a BA (Hons) in History & Drama from the University of Winchester.
