Frode Buanes is a highly educated individual with a Master's degree in European Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as a Master's degree in Macroeconomics and Economic Policy from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Additionally, he has a background in Politics and Macroeconomics from The University of Edinburgh.

Throughout his career, Frode has held various key positions in the media industry, showcasing his expertise and leadership skills. He serves as the Head of digital publishing (digitalsjef) at Dagens Næringsliv, having previously undertaken roles such as Acting editor for publishing strategy and visual journalism, Head of newsroom planning and publishing, Managing editor, and Assistant editor at the same publication. Moreover, Frode has contributed his talents at Bergens Tidende and also worked as a Journalist for both Bergens Tidende and NA24.

Frode Buanes has not only excelled in editorial roles but has also shared his knowledge and insights as a Member of the program committee at the Nordic Media Festival. His extensive experience in the media landscape spans from content creation to strategic planning, reflecting his versatility and strong grasp of journalism.
