Freida Staten

Freida Staten is the VP of Marketing, Communications & Membership at the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA).134 She joined the WFCA in September 2013 as Vice President of Recruitment and Affiliate Relations.12

Staten has over 20 years of experience in the flooring industry.2 Before joining WFCA, she worked at Shaw Industries for 15 years, where she was a founding team member of the Shaw Flooring Network (SFN).2 At SFN, she served as the manager of communications and events.2

In her role at WFCA, Staten is responsible for:

1. Increasing membership commitments with professional flooring retailers across the United States and Canada12
2. Recruiting members in manufacturing, installation, cleaning, and inspecting12
3. Evaluating and improving association member benefits12
4. Working with WFCA Affiliate organizations to help them grow and increase membership12

Staten holds a certification as a Certified Meeting Professional.1 She studied Conference & Meeting Management at The University of Georgia and Business Management at Dalton State College.1
