I also manage the development of Touch Briefing’s collaboration with the major associations in the industry. This collaboration consists of the associations writing articles within Touch’s reports and to be present during key industry conferences.

During my internship at Deutsche Telekom I managed the development and growth of the African voice market. This covered 24 carriers including Telkom SA, Globacom and Maroc Telecom. Through proactive account management, I successfully increased sales by 91% in Q4 of 2004. In the following year of 2005, I exceeded my target; landing at a final revenue vs. target achievement of 102%. 

As part of my job description, I conducted market surveys on the development of IP products in the African market and created a database of prospects. I then used this prospect list for a number of marketing campaigns to create awareness about DT’s new products and services.
