Fred PLAIS is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for digital products and startups. Since 2000, he has been involved in building and leading digital teams, focusing on web development tools, content management systems (CMS), e-commerce, and cloud computing. He values commitment, integrity, and innovation, and enjoys working with international teams and clients.

Fred PLAIS is a co-founder and currently runs Platform.sh, a prominent Venture Capital (VC) funded Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) company that has raised $180 million to date. Platform.sh specializes in helping large enterprises like Adobe, BNP Paribas, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Unity Technologies, Pinterest, and others manage fleets of websites at scale. The company's diverse team of 400 employees operates remotely across 30+ countries, emphasizing sustainability by reducing carbon emissions from clients' digital operations.

In terms of education, Fred PLAIS completed the first year of the Henley MBA program sponsored by SFR but left to establish af83. He also holds a Master's degree in Business and Marketing from ESCP Business School.

Throughout his career, Fred PLAIS has held various leadership roles, including co-founder and CEO of Commerce Guys, co-founder and CEO of Infoclic, and General Manager at AF83. He has also served as the Head of Music, Games, and Premium Content at SFR Vodafone Group and worked as a Product Manager at L'Oréal.
