Fred Bazibu

Fred Bazibu is a dedicated individual deeply involved in communal work to address issues affecting the community, particularly health challenges like malaria and maternal health in Uganda, with a focus on the Busoga sub-region.

Through his role as a program coordinator at Healthy Initiatives Uganda, Fred collaborates with various stakeholders to bring about positive changes in the well-being of rural people, especially women, children, and disabled individuals.

Despite the significant health challenges faced by Uganda, particularly malaria which has a devastating impact comparable to COVID-19 deaths in the USA, Fred remains committed to implementing sustainable health initiatives that can make a real difference.

With a background in accounting, including a diploma from Uganda College of Commerce in Soroti, Fred has gained practical experience in finance through positions such as accounts assistant at Budondo Sacco and internships at Healthy Entrepreneurs and Jinja District Local Government.

Fred Bazibu remains open to constructive collaborations to further support rural communities and is grateful to those who have already joined him in the efforts to enhance the health and well-being of marginalized individuals in Uganda.
