Frank Maresca

Frank Maresca is an American art dealer and the co-founder of Ricco/Maresca Gallery, located in New York City. He has been the Owner and Director of the gallery since its establishment in January 1979, marking over 45 years in this role. Maresca is known for his long-term advocacy of Self-Taught, Folk, and Outsider Art, focusing on artists who operate outside the traditional art-historical mainstream.

Throughout his career, Maresca has been instrumental in promoting the works of these artists through various gallery exhibitions, museum collaborations, and key publications. He is also involved in philanthropic efforts and serves on the advisory boards of several organizations, including the Creative Growth Art Center, Raw Vision Magazine, and Fountain House Gallery.
