Frank Bach

Frank Bach is a Staff Product Designer at Instagram, where he focuses on elevating creator experiences.3 Prior to joining Instagram in October 2023, he worked as a Principal and Lead Product Designer at Headspace from 2016 to 2022.2 He has also held design roles at Red Bull from 2015 to 2016.2

In addition to his work at Instagram, Frank runs his own design studio called Bach & Bach and founded Sunshine Shop, a company that supports artists and creators.2 He is also an investor in Crowns & Hops Brewing Co. and previously served as a Design Advisor at Logic + Rhythm.2

Frank has a diverse background in product design, spanning social media, healthcare, and habit-building.2 He is passionate about the relationship between mindfulness and creativity, and how meditation can empower designers to be stronger contributors.1

Frank holds a Master of Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University.2 He is an active speaker and teaches courses on topics such as developing influence and leadership skills for designers.14

His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Apple Design Award, Webby Award, Canadian Marketing Award, RGD's So(cial) Good Award, and Design Edge Canada's Legacy Award.1
