Francois Loviat is a highly educated and experienced chemical engineer with expertise in catalysis and surface analysis. He earned a PhD in Chemistry from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Laussane.

Loviat has held various positions at Sulzer, including Sales Engineer, Development Engineer, Start-up and Commissioning Manager, Head of PLA Plant, and Project Manager. He also worked as a Scientific Assistant and PhD student at the Paul Scherrer Institut and as a Diploma Student at Merck Serono. Currently, he serves as the Head of Process at Buss AG, where he is responsible for overseeing the production process of the company's products.
