Francisco Martin

Francisco Martin is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in machine learning and artificial intelligence. He co-founded BigML, Inc. in February 2011 and has been serving as its CEO since then.23 At BigML, he helps conceptualize, design, architect, implement, and operate the company's distributed Machine Learning platform.13

Prior to BigML, Francisco founded and led several successful companies:

1. Strands, Inc. (2004-2010): A company that pioneered Behavior-based Recommender Systems.13
2. iSOCO (1999-2002): The first spin-off of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).13
