Francisco Cuellar is a robotics and electronics engineer with a strong passion for science, technology, and innovation, and their impact on social and economic progress. He is a co-founder of Tumi Robotics, a startup focusing on safetytech, cleantech, and sustainability for industries like mining, energy, oil & gas, and capital-intensive sectors.
At Tumi Robotics, Francisco leads the development and integration of proprietary robotics, IoT, and artificial intelligence solutions, aiming to establish the company as a global leader and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals worldwide.
In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Francisco Cuellar is a professor at the Engineering School of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the founder of the Group of Innovative Technology (GIT) at PUCP. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics, a Master of Science in Mechatronics from Kings College University of London, a Master of Management and Politics of Innovation and Technology, and is currently a PhD candidate in Engineering at PUCP.
With an extensive academic background and expertise in mechatronics, robotics, and engineering science, Francisco also serves as a keynote speaker, coach, and mentor to colleagues and students globally, sharing his knowledge and experience in the field.
Throughout his career, Francisco Cuellar has held key positions such as Chief Innovation Officer at Tumi Robotics, Director of the Center of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (CETAM) at PUCP, Research and Development Chief in Electronics at FAMESA, and Lecturer in Robotics at TECSUP, showcasing his leadership and expertise in various technological domains.
