Francis P.J. Coteur

Francis Coteur is a highly accomplished engineer and project manager with extensive experience in logistics coordination and technical support for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in several locations around the world. With a Master's Degree in Project Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering at ECAM Brussels Engineering School, he has honed his technical skills to a high level of proficiency. He has contributed to the success of various field projects in Angola, Brazil, Chad, and Yemen, serving as Country Director, Logistics Coordinator, Emergency Coordinator, and Senior Evaluator. Francis excels in managing logistics, administration, and operational support for field staff, ensuring the efficient delivery of supplies and resources to remote and challenging locations on tight timelines.

Prior to his humanitarian work, Francis was an Implementation Consultant for Platinum Services Europe, a Tendering Engineer for ABAY TS (now SPIE Belgium), and a Project Manager for Wang Global (now Getronics). Through his diverse career, Francis has developed a range of transferable skills, including stakeholder management, contract negotiations, cost-benefit analysis, and quality control. He is a motivated problem solver and team player who enjoys working in fast-paced and complex environments.
