I launched a creative food business during the pandemic, offering artisanal baked products both direct to consumers and via wholesale. During the process I found a real passion for the food industry and strong skills in recipe development and innovation, as well as food styling and content creation.

THE WHY AGENCY
I worked for creative agency, The Why, on various projects in 2018 - 2021. Most recently as a Digital Marketing Consultant, helping them focus on their own agency marketing. This included creating project/client case studies, improving/mapping the websites, creating social media content & advertising strategies. Previous to that role I was hired as a Content Producer, contributing to large, multi-faceted projects and events.

FIVE CANONS 
I joined The Why's sister agency, Five Canons, in a hybrid role covering operations and digital marketing to help them launch. Using a 'test & learn' approach with advertising data, I helped to build Five Canon's brand and vision from the ground up, as well as creating a digital marketing strategy for its launch. 

FEEL-GOOD BRANDS
Hired as a Freelance Brand Strategy Consultant for this online community of purpose-led brands in 2019, I delivered and implemented a commercial strategy for the business, improving the value proposition and developing monetisable/growth opportunities within the business, such as memberships, podcast & an events programme.

Co-founded a consultancy delivering compelling, high-value vision for IP owners, brands and start-ups. This included the creation of content campaigns, industry pitches and investor proposals.

Launched a small e-commerce business selling premium, design-led gifts. This business taught me so many new skills, from international product sourcing, web design, e-commerce platforms, finding a distribution partner, and selling at a pop-up... to name a few.

Telegraph Hill was a modern full-service agency capable of bringing any vision to life – from a tweet to a TV show. Founded as a lean start-up, the company ran for over five years attracting top TV and advertising talent and creating industry-leading projects for some of the biggest brands in the world.

Part of the senior management team and reporting at board level, I was a key contributor in strategic decision making, responsible for day to day running of the business. Main responsibilities included maintaining a positive company culture & policy, responsibility for company P&L (£4m+), hiring & retaining top talent, and management & development of perm (40+) & temp staff (80+).

Clients included Google, Red Bull, Nike, Hewlett Packard, Facebook, BBC TV & Radio, Sky, Glastonbury Festival,  Picturehouse Cinemas, ITV, Channel 4, Britain’s Beer Alliance, TGI Friday’s, The Royal Foundation, Channel 5, NBC Universal and more.

Promoted to Head of Delivery, I was given responsibility for the entire delivery service function of the company, managing the creative, strategy and production teams to deliver social content, video content, digital campaigns, events and PR activations, and multi-episode live broadcast series.

Responsible for all client delivery processes, budgets and client escalation, new business & pitch processes, profitable project delivery, efficient team structures and utilisation of resources.

Brought in to help grow the company out of start up phase, I oversaw all client projects, ensuring they were delivered to scope, to budget and on time. My contributions were key in turning the company profitable within 6 months through introducing rigorous utilisation, budgeting and efficient processes.

Creative Projects Manager

The Edinburgh TV Festival is the UK’s most prestigious media event attracting over 2000 delegates from TV, media and digital, hosting major internationally renowned talent from the world of TV and film. 

I worked as part of the core team responsible for running the main festival, working closely with senior TV executives on the Executive & Advisory Committees, festival partners and sponsors and TV talent on event delivery, as well as additional events to advise and inspire young TV talent to gain successful employment in the TV industry.

I was promoted from Festival Assistant, to Operations Executive, to Events Producer. My main responsibility in this role was to deliver the Channel of the Year Awards, fundraising charity quiz & press event at BAFTA, talent schemes' alumni events and London Screenings.

Concert Live was a live recording and merchandising company, touring with bands and selling unique collectible live recordings within 15 minutes of the end of the show. 

Whilst at university I worked for Concert Live, going go on national tours and helping to organise international tours with renowned artists.

My responsibilities included organising event logistics, tour scheduling, negotiating with venues, booking travel and accommodation, recruiting, training and managing staff and volunteers, and front-of-house sales & queries.

My first full time job was as a Sales Negotiator in a small estate agency. A real baptism of fire, I learned how to negotiate and manage a complex process at a young age, and how to deal with people in highly emotional and stressful times.
