Frances Portaluri is a Digital Transformation and Communications consultant with a wide range of skills and expertise. She excels in website design and creation, research and data analysis, communications strategy, content and copywriting creation, and editing. Frances has a proven track record in problem-solving, customer service, and fast decision-making, as best exemplified during her work with the British Embassy in Virginia, where she was pivotal in the timely and relevant dissemination of unique and useful content for their service personnel.
Frances has curated and created a training package for an audience of over 9000+ global work sites for the use of a newly integrated Siebel CRM system. Frances has also shown her dedication to lifelong learning, having learned Kung Fu at a Shaolin monastery, self-taught woodwork, IAB accreditation for the fundamentals of digital marketing, and most recently taking the 'Digital Retox' course with Digital Mums.
Frances studied Digital Retox, Digital Communication, and Media/Multimedia at Digital Mums, and MA HONS 2:1 in Social Anthropology at The University of Edinburgh. She also studied Latin, Spanish, and English A-levels at Channing School, Highgate London, and learned Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Xi Gong at Kunyu Mountain Shaolin Martial Arts Academy. Frances's organizations include Freelance Digital Consultant, former Mother and President of Play at Career Break, former Community Liaison Officer at UK Ministry of Defence, former Technology Consulting Analyst at Accenture, former Intern for Hola! Hello! magazine HQ at Hola! and former Travel Operations Assistant at Classic Tours. She also served as an Officer Cadet Volunteer Reserve at Royal Air Force.
