Florian Krampe
Senior Researcher at SIPRI working on climate security, peacebuilding, and sustaining peace
Dr. Florian Krampe is the Director of Studies, Peace and Development, and Acting Director of the Climate Change and Risk Programme at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).13 He is a German/Swedish political scientist and international relations scholar specializing in peace and conflict research, environmental and climate security, and international security.2
Krampe's work focuses on:

- Peacebuilding processes in regions highly exposed to climate change
He is also an Affiliated Researcher at Uppsala University and a Specially Appointed Professor at Hiroshima University, Japan.13 Krampe's research informs policymakers, including UN agencies and various governments, on climate change and security issues.13
