Florencio Zavala

Florencio Zavala is an experienced Art Director with over two decades of expertise in visual communication. He leads the creative vision at YouTube's Global Brand Team, specializing in crafting compelling branded content and international campaigns.

Aside from his role at YouTube, Florencio is the Principal and Founder of Estudio Zavala, a platform dedicated to editorial projects and public art with a focus on driving social change through design. He values mentorship and community engagement to nurture creative talent and amplify voices within the industry.

Florencio holds a Master Class in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Hyper Island, a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts, and studied Graphic Design at the University of Florida.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Design Lead for Creative Studio at YouTube, Freelance Creative Director at MullenLowe U.S., Creative Director for Apple, and many more. Florencio has also been involved in academia, serving as a lecturer and visiting design critic at prestigious institutions like California Institute of the Arts, Boston University, and Pitzer College.

His extensive experience spans across multiple industries and roles encompassing art direction, design, education, and mentorship.
