Flora Huang

Flora Huang is an experienced non-profit manager who successfully ran a city-issued government contract for over a decade, with a focus on enhancing community and family engagement in the child welfare system. She excels in building partnerships among government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups to better support families. Flora has a background as a public school teacher in New York City and has been involved in developing curricula to enhance student learning experiences. She is skilled in workforce development within healthcare and social services, youth development, equity and diversity issues, trauma-informed approaches, and promoting gifted and talented programs in special education.

Flora holds a Master's in Public Health with a specialization in Community Health Education from Hunter College, where she maintained an impressive 3.75 GPA. She also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, showcasing her diverse academic background.
