Flavio Affinito is a marine biologist and statistician turned entrepreneur with a strong background in ecological research, climate change, marine ecology, and animal metabolism at an international level.
He founded an impact startup called NuOceans, which focuses on tackling the issue of 3 billion pairs of unrecyclable flip flops produced annually, transforming them into fully circular sandals made from ocean plastic waste.
