Co-directed and co-produced acclaimed and multiple award-winning feature documentary, Fractured Land – a coming of age story about a young Indigenous lawyer, Caleb Behn, working to expose the natural gas industry in northern BC, Canada. 

Successful (early) Indiegogo campaign; community screenings in over 90 communities (many remote Indigenous communities); commissioned by broadcasters: CBC’s Documentary Channel, Knowledge Network, RTL (Germany), SBS (Australia) and PBS.

Led vision, strategy and execution for Gen Why Media - a public engagement agency, specializing in new forms of public participation using media, events and public art. (Now called Creative Publics, run by Gen Why Media's other co-founder, Tara Mahoney.) 

Created and ran campaigns such as Reimagine CBC (in collaboration with Leadnow.ca, OpenMedia and funding partners) - a massive online public brainstorm about the opportunities and challenges that faced our public broadcaster during the Stephen Harper era + a 1200 person in-person concert that celebrated the CBC, showcasing famous artists, journalists, filmmakers and other thought leaders. The event functioned in tandem with the online campaign and report, directed at the CRTC to reform media policy.

The British Columbia Civil Liberties Association is an autonomous, non-partisan charitable society that seeks to promote, defend, sustain, and extend civil liberties and human rights.

This role involved communications and policy/legal research. Also made a short documentary, Most Livable City, based on a BCCLA position paper on the human right to water - screened at the BCCLA AGM, in addition to film festivals.
